Denpasar City Tour 
Frequency:  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. 
Timing:        9.00 am - 1.00 pm.  
Pick-up:       From 8.00 am 

  Admire what Denpasar - Bali's Capital city has to offer. Located in the centre is the attractive Puputan Square. Explore the Bali Museum with its art collection that ranges from prehistoric finds to early 20th century art. On display are scale models depicting the ritualistic Balinese tooth filing, marriage and cremation ceremonies. 
  Visit the colourful "Pasar"  where the local people sell their products with much haggling over prices. Take a ride in a traditional "Dokar" horse and cart. A stop at one of the new "Supermarkets" is included - these in fact are the equivalent of a department store. 
  Your last stop is the Bali Arts Centre, a traditional Balinese building which houses a permanent exhibition of modern paintings and wood carvings.

Monkey Forest, Mengwi Temple & Tanah Lot

Journey into the countryside and make a stop to take a short walk through scenic terraced rice fields, cultivated in a unique Balinese style, surrounded by coconut trees and tropical horticultural plants including sweet potato and tapioca. At the end of your stroll, relax in a Balinese pavilion and sample traditional Indonesian fried tapioca and sweet potato together with mineral water, tea or coffee. 
  Then drive along the Royal Temple of Mengwi-Pura Taman Ayun. Dating from 1634, this picturesque complex surrounded by moat with multi-roofed shrines and intricately carved wooden gates. We then continue to the sacred Monkey Forest, a cluster of towering trees which is home to hundreds of monkeys. 
  Last stop is Tanah Lot - famous in Bali as the Sunset Temple. Experience the sunset beyond the black lava towers of the sacred 16th century temple, built on a lava rock 200 metres off-shore.

Ubud Arts & Craft Tour

  We have carefully researched many arts and crafts shops and have selected establishments with a high standard of quality work. 
  During this half day tour of Celuk Village, which is renowned for its gold and silver works, skilled artisans create exquisite pieces in gold and silver. Mas village - famous for its intricate woodcarving, immensely talented woodcarvers fashion items of all varieties from ebony and other hardwoods. 
  Ubud is the artistic heart of Bali, where many local and European painters have settled. There are dozens of galleries and shops filled with paintings and sculptures, many by well-known artists. You will visit an excellent place to get an over view of the stylistic differences. They also display ancient paintings as well as a variety of works by contemporary artists.

Rural Charm of Bali, with Lunch

  Escape into the heart of the Balinese countryside - explore beautiful rice fields and enjoy the tranquility of Gulingan village. Wondering through the terraced rice fields, you reach a fabulous setting of tropical vegetation and ponds. 
  Take in the surrounding view of unspoilt rural Bali while you relax in the traditional pavilion. If you like, try your hand at fishing in the ponds or take a stroll downhill through coconut palms, coffee, vanilla and clove plantations. Return to the village to learn the art of Balinese cooking in a traditional kitchen. 
  A fabulous lesson in cooking such delicious meals. Grind, mix and prepare the abundant herbs and spices which add the unique texture and flavour to Balinese dishes. Your delicious lunch is ready to enjoy. 
  Complete the day by visiting one of Bali's fascinating Traditional House Compounds. Within the surrounding walls, nested around a courtyard, you will see several bedrooms, a temple and a ceremonial platform.  
Note: This is a walking tour through rural villages and fields, so please bring along your walking shoes.

Eco Cycling Tour, with Lunch

  A fragrant scent of flowers in the cool morning is ideal to begin your "downhill cycling tour". Cycling pass local craftsmen at work, a stream and a landscape with lush and fertile vegetation. This amazing tropical island is still rich with distinctive customs and culture. 
  The friendly smiling faces of the Balinese await your arrival, an invitation to their traditional house compound for a fabulous refreshment stop. 
  Continue cycling amongst fields of local fresh fruits and vegetables. Higher altitudes offer scenic views of the hauntingly beautiful mountains and terraced rice fields. 
  A pleasant walk brings you to the beautiful village of Gulingan in Mengwi - famous for its traditional Balinese cooking lessons. 

Besakih & Karangasem Tour

  We take you to Besakih at the foot of Mount Agung, through rice field terraces and onto Bali's scenic east coast. At Klungkung, visit the Hall of Justice, Kerta Gosa which dates back to the 18th century. Interesting classical painting can be viewed on the ceiling portraying visions of heaven and hell. 
  Continue up into the mountains admiring views of rice terraces with the glistering sea in the distance. Then it'is on to Besakih Temple, the "Mother Temple" of Bali located almost 1,000 metres above sea level. Comprising of 30 temples built on 7 levels of terraces on the mountainside. Stop for lunch at Bukit Jambul (lunch not included). 
  Back at sea level, visit Tenganan - one of the original Bali "Aga" villages where traditions have changed little over the centuries. Drive through the beach resort of Candi Dasa to Kusamba fishing village where fishing and salt panning are still the villagers' main livelihood. View black sand beaches and colourfully painted outrigger canoes. Our final stop is Goa Lawah (Bat cave) where the holy walls of the cave literally vibrate with thousands of bats.

Barong Kintamani Volcano Tour

  The perfect introduction to Bali's fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano. We take you to Batubulan to see the exciting Barong Dance. 
  Continue on through the woodcarving village of Mas, watch artisans chipping intricate designs from wood blocks. Visit the fantastic 11th century Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah). 
  Moving into the cool mountains of Kintamani, view Mount Batur with its ribbons of black lava running down its peak to the valley below. Beside lies the shimmering lake of of Batur. 
  Enjoy lunch (not included) in a restaurant providing wonderful views. Our route home stops at the Holy springs which are believed to have magic curative powers. Visit Ubud - the artistic heart of Bali and Celuk - the gold and silver making centre.

Bedugul & Singaraja Tour

  Traverse the width of Bali in a day. Leaving the relatively flat rice fields behind, we drive into the steep mountains of Pacung. Vegetation changes as you continue further into the alpine countryside. Mosses, creepers and ferns flourish here. Candi Kuning fruit and flower market produces exotic wild orchids, roses and fresh fruits. Reaching the attractive mountain resort of Bedugul - serene Lake Bratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru. A delightful Temple of Ulun Danu is dedicated to this goddess. 
  Continue north to visit one of the world's greatest golf courses "Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club" before reaching the fantastic jungle waterfall of Gitgit. On the north coast, we travel through the town of Singaraja and have lunch at the fabulous black sand beach of Lovina (Lunch not included). 
  We return along a different route (Pupuan) through coffee plantations and spectacular terraced rice fields.

Ubud Evening Tour, with Cultural Show & Dinner

  Spend an evening inland in Ubud, Bali's artistic heart. There's time to browse around the art galleries and craft shops and have dinner at one of the restaurants before watching one of the cultural performances listed (Dinner not included). 
  When the regent of Ubud - Cokorda Gede Agung - founded a painters cooperative, a dance and a gamelan orchestra in the 1930s, his intention was to ensure the preservation and development of Balinese arts. Gradually, Ubud and neighboring Peliatan Village become a mecca for painters, dancers, musicians, and writers alike. Even today, the gentle pace of life, the village atmosphere, the wholesome cooking of the eating houses, the wealth of Balinese culture and the quality crafts, all prove irresistible to the discerning visitors.  
  Entrance to one of the following cultural performances is included: 
* Legong Dance - a selection of 5 or 6 short dances, usually including the dramatic Baris warrior dance (Every Monday - Ubud Palace 1930hrs; Every Saturday - Pura Dalem Puri 1930hrs). 
* Ramayana Ballet - a classical dance re-enacting part of the Indian Ramayana epic (Every Tuesday - Ubud Palace 2000hrs). 
* Wayang Kulit - Shadow Puppet Show at Oka Kartini's. The Dalang puppeteer usually portrays the Indian epics over 8 to 10 hours, but this hour-long performance shows you the highlights. (Every Sunday & Wednesday 2000hrs).

Evening Fire, Trance & Monkey Dance

  No visit to Bali would be complete without seeing some of the Island's colourful Traditional Dances. There are dozens of different dances - all a part of the fascinating Balinese culture. This tour takes you to the village of Batubulan to see three of the dances: 
* Sanghyang (Trance) Dance - is traditionally performed as an exorcism to promote peace and health within the village. 
* Kecak (Monkey) Dance - performed by a group of at least 50 men who dance in a circle around the blazing torch. 
* Fire Dance - where the dancer becomes entranced and is able to dance on hot coals without feeling pain.
