Accommodation
The Andaman has 188 deluxe rooms and suites. Each is furnished with king or twin beds, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, writing desk and chair, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safety box and IDD telephone lines. Lanai rooms feature sunning decks with umbrella and are on the first floor. 

The Executive Suites, Malaysian Suite and Presidential Suite features king-size beds while the Japanese suite has twin beds. Each suite has one bedroom, a separate living area, spacious balcony and private bar. The Japanese and Malaysia suites are also decorated in authentic style.

Facilities & Services
Business Centre
The Business Centre is located at the Main Lobby near the Gift Shop and is open from 09h00 until 22h00 daily. Internet and reading materials are available

Fitness Centre 
The Fitness Centre is located on the 2nd Floor towards the south wing and is open from 06h00 until 23h00 daily. 

Swimming Pool 
The Andaman’s exquisite landscaped swimming pool is located at the Poolside Terrace, overlooking the beachfront.

Tennis 
The tennis courts are located at The Datai Bay Golf Course and are available from 07h30 to 22h30. The cost of the court is RM20.00 per hour from 07h30 until 19h30 and RM40.00 per hour from 19h30 until 22h30. For tennis lessons or just a game with the coach, please contact the Concierge for details. 

Volleyball
The volleyball court is located beside the poolside bar just before you approach the watersports hut. 

Watersports 
Try your hand at windsurfing, catamaran sailing or canoeing. Snorkelling equipment is also available for you to enjoy the marine life at our small coral garden. Contact our staff at the Watersports Hut who will be more than happy to make any arrangements and also provide information on winds and tides. 

Jogging Trails 
Jogging trails are described on the trail map contained in your room compendium. The trails range from an easy 1.5 km jog along the low water line of Datai Bay beach to a bracing 12 km run along the coast to Temurun Waterfalls and back. 

Mountain Bikes
Arrange with our Concierge make use of our mountain bikes to explore the surrounding area. Follow either our jogging rails or for more adventurous rides, go off track on our jungle trails. Use of mountain bikes are complimentary. 

Billiards & Games Room 
The billiards and games room is located on the ground floor next to The Restaurant. There you can find a 12 foot billiards table along with a selection of board games such as chess, scrabble, monopoly, rummy, carom and mahjong. We also now have a PlayStation Console for the kids to hire per hour, with a wide selection of games. Please see Concierge for details. In addition, we have a wide selection of reading material for your enjoyment along with satellite television including ESPN sports channel. Open from 0900 hrs - midnight - Daily

Nature - Bird Watching 
Bird watching can be arranged with our on site Naturalist. Take a trip up Gunung Raya and see for yourself the Great Hornbills along with spectacular views of Langkawi. This trip costs RM70 per person and requires a minimum of 4 people. Contact Concierge to book. 

Jamu Nature Spa
The Jamu Nature Spa has three villas; two duplex-style Rainforest Villa overlook the Andaman Sea and includes: two massage beds on each level, large bathtub, garden shower and relaxation terrace. The very private Sari Villa offers more lavish facilities, including a large jacuzzi, garden-shower and relaxation terrace.An additional charge of RM50.00 per hour is applicable for the use of the Sari Villa.

Detox Body Scrub 
Vanilla Mocha Body Scrub (2 hours)
After a Traditional Massage using softly fragrant Vanilla Bean Massage Oil, the Mocha Scrub is applied to the body and then gently rubbed off to exfoliate the skin, this is followed by a relaxing soak in a Coconut Cream Bath. A rub down with Vanilla Bean Body Lotion is the perfect end to this aromatic indulgence.

Datai Bay Ocean Scrub (1.5 hours) 
This scrub replicates the invigorating and refreshing sensation of a swim in the cool ocean. An aromatherapy massage using Jamu Blend Massage Oil is followed by a Sea Salt Body Scrub, which exfoliates and leaves the skin tingling. Afterwards soak in a floral bath surrounded by the essence of Tropical Cananga and enjoy the stunning view of the Andaman Sea. Finish with a Tropical Cananga Body Lotion Rub.

Tongkat Ali Nature Scrub (2 hours)
Traditionally the root of this tree is boiled and the infusion is consumed to enhance Male performance. We offer a wonderful body scrub utilizing the crushed leaves from the Tongkat Ali Tree. The refreshing and exhilarant scrub is followed by a relaxing bath filled with exotic spices and finished with therapeutic Traditional Massage.

Earth & Flower Body Mask (2 hours)
After a Traditional Kemiri Massage Scrub a beauty mask made from fresh cut Roses, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine and Frangipani flowers is applied over the entire body and left to draw out the toxins. Fresh honey yoghurt is then applied to nourish and hydrate the skin. A fragrant flowerbath finishes this treatment.

Massage
Essential and Fragrant oils are blended with Nourishing Grapeseed Oil and Jamu's signature blend fragrances to calm and relax the body. Choose from Tropical Jasmine, Tropical Citrus, Tropical Cananga, Traditional Ginger or Lavender.

Traditional Massage (1 hour)
Uses Balinese long, strong strokes, skin rolling, threading and reflex techniques

Aromatherapy Massage (1 hour)
Is a gentle, relaxing massage created to soothe and restore the mind and body

Reflexology Treatment (1 hour)
A wash and scrub are followed by a foot pressure point massage to stimulate healing

Face Care 
Flowers, spices, herbs and leaves have been used in Indonesia for generations for their beautifying and healing qualities. Our facial ingredients are prepared fresh daily. Cucumber Tonic, Kemiri Peel, Honey Cleanser and Flower and Fruit masks, combine to cleanse, exfoliate, balance and relax.

Tropical Nuts (1 hour)
A relaxing facial using pressure point massage to drain the sinus and a flower mask to draw out toxins.

Sari Buah Peel (1 hour) 
Our Fresh Fruit Peel facial made with natural fruit adds to healing and nourishes the skin

Rose Petal Eye Mask (30 min)
Add this to your facial or try on its own. Pure essential oils, hydrating and soothing.

Bodywaxing 
A specially prepared recipe from cane sugar gently removes body hairs. We follow the waxing with a Lavender & Aloe Vera Massage, Underarm, Half Leg, Full Leg and Bikini.

Hand And Leg Treatments 
Relaxing and Cleansing Treatments. All our ingredients are freshly made: Honey Cleanser, Cucumber Tonic, Kemiri Nut Scrub, Flower & Clove Mask. We recommend no polish on nails.

Foot & Leg Treatment (1.5 hours)
First a pedicure is given and then the legs and feet are pampered, cleansed and given Reflexology foot massage. A Clove and Flower Mask follows. The feet are then immersed into a hot pebble bath to soak.

Hand & Arm Treatment (1.5 hours)
First a manicure is given and then hands and arms are pampered, cleansed and given a hand Reflexology Massage. A Flower Mask follows and finally rinsed with a Lavender Bath.

Hair And Scalp Treatment 
Creambath (1 hour)
After your hair is shampooed, we deeply condition the scalp and hair using a blend of Hibisus flowers, Aloe Vera and Fresh Lime. Your hair is then wrapped in steaming towels and your neck and shoulders are given an aromatherapy massage. The hair is combed and left to dry naturally. We recommend the hair dry naturally for benefit.

ANDAMAN SUNRISE (3 hours)

Relax and enjoy an Aromatherapy or Traditional Massage followed by your choice of body scrub, Javanese Lulur, Balinese Boreh, Mangir Coconut or Kemiri Nut. After a warm shower, relax in a healing sea salt bath while you try our special Jamu Tonic. Your bath is followed by your choice of facial: Tropical Nuts or Fresh Fruit Peel. Relax in our warm fragrant bath, and gaze into the blue sea.

AFTER SUN & ALOE LAVENDER (1.5 hours)
Benefits: Soothes Skin overexposed to the Sun, Cools overheated Body
Treatments: Cooling bath, Gentle massage, Foot Reflexology
Soak and Relax in a cool fragrant bath, then a special blend of fresh Aloe Vera and Lavendar Essential Oil Lotion is gently rubbed on the entire body. While the lotion penetrates and soothes the skin, your feet are given a reflexology massage.

TROPICAL PAPAYA & KEMIRI NUT WRAP (1.5 hours)
Benefits: Cleanses, Heals and Moisturises.
Treatments: Massage, Body Wrap, Fragrant Bath
Maintain muscle tone and stimulates circulation with a one hour massage using crushed Kemiri Nuts. Freshly prepared Papaya and mint leaf lotion is smoothed all over the body, and then wrapped with banana leaves for skin hydration and nourishment. Afterwards relax in a warm floral bath whilst enjoying the benefits of our therapeutic Jamu hermal tonic.

Restaurants & Entertainment
The Restaurant 
Located at level 1 (ground floor), overlooking the swimming pool. Open for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Air-conditioned, restaurant or al-fresco dining on the terrace. Continental cuisine or Asian specialities are served in an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. Table d'hote menu is available for creating your own set menu. Daily changing Chef Specials are offered. The Restaurant has a fully air-condition wine cellar with an extensive selection. Humidor cabinet with large choice of Cuban, Dominican, Honduran and Jamaican cigars are available.

The Poolside Terrace 
Relaxed and casual restaurant next to the poolside and overlooking the beachfront. Wood-fired pizza, complemented with Homemade desserts. Favourite cocktails, mocktails and wines are available from our extensive beverage and wine list.

The Beach Bar 
Located next to the beach and with spectacular views of our panoramic Datai Bay and The Andaman Sea. The Bar serves favourite cocktails and mocktails , a light snack menu, extensive wines from the list and cigars for your relaxation and leisure. An ideal place to watch beautiful sunsets while having drinks and listening to some soothing light jazz

The Lobby Lounge
Located on the main lobby level 3, the open-air lounge with views of the swimming pool and the rainforest canopy, is an ideal place for enjoying your favourite cocktail or a glass of wine. A light snack menu is available. Relax and enjoy the entertainment of our resident 4-piece band, performing light pop and jazz for your listening pleasure.

The Japanese Restaurant 
Located on ground floor Level 1, overlooking the swimming pool, the restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine, including favourites like Sushi, Sashimi or Tempura. An extensive A-la-carte menu is available. Two Teppanyaki counters for live cooking, as well as two separate, private Titami rooms for a traditional way of Japanese dining. Gozen and Andaman Gozen Set Menus are offered.

The Gulai House 
Located 300 metres away from the hotel building into the heart of rainforest experience of walking over an old Kampung "Titi Bridge" and lit pathway with the sound of the jungle and the ocean in the background on the way to this very unique Malay traditional "Kampung Style"  restaurant. Open-air   Malay House style with Malay and Indian cuisine. Two styles of seating, either Nobat- where you can experience dining by sitting on the floor and normal dining table. Different daily Chef Specials are offered, as well as Set Menus and an extensive a-la-carte menu. Malay cultural show featuring traditional musicians and dances are performed every Sunday from 2000 to 2200 hrs.
