Location: Flanked by a host of other islands, rocks, shoals and small sand mounds forming the Male Atoll, Hembadhu Island is home to Taj Coral Reef Resort. The island is dominated by the presence of magnificent coconut palms sprouting from velvety white sand, and lush and abundant underwater flora and fauna. The resort is located 32 km away from Male International Airport and can be reached by speed boat in an hour. Rooms: 35 Lagoon Villas separated from each other with private sun decks and individual ladders providing easy access from deck to shallow waters; and 30 Garden Villas a few feet from the shore with individual hammocks on the beach. All villas have private balconies or sundecks, private bathrooms, air-conditioning, colour television with in-house movies & satellite channels, IDD telephone, personal safe, mini bar, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities.
