The Furama
Palace Chinese Restaurant - well known for its Cantonese Cuisine at the
Furama Hotel Singapore opened with a brand-new look and a new Master Chef
Jullian Tam from Hong Kong on Monday, 9 September 2002.
Master Chef
Tam is a globetrotter who has worked in countries such as China, Canada
and Hong Kong. He loves creating new dishes such as the Panfried Shark's
Fin with Crabmeat and Chives served in Shell, Baked Live Lobster with Stock,
Assorted Seafood with Tientsin Cabbage, Deepfried Fragrant Pork Loin and
much more.
We promise
you a fine dining experience with great service at the new Furama Palace
Chinese Restaurant. The staff has undergone intensive training to assist
you with your orders. Service will be further enhanced with the introduction
of the "Plated Service". What this means is - a plate will be placed permanently
in the middle of the table at all times. When a new dish arrives, it will
be placed on that plate first. Then the dish will be taken to the side
of the table, and the captain will scoop the dish into individual plates
before serving you and your guests.
The Restaurant,
which has been listed as one of the top restaurant in the Wine & Dine
Top Restaurants Guide for the past 4 years will be listed again in the
Wine & Dine Top Restaurant Guide 2002/2003.
