Location: Resting on 1.7 hectares of ocean front land, the Galle Face Hotel is situated in the heart of the commercial district of Colombo. An oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of the city by the side of the Indian Ocean. Established in 1864 the Galle Face Hotel soon became one of the most exquisite hotels east of Suez. It is a low-rise structure which has been hailed as a masterpiece of Victorian Architecture. It resembles a stately home facing the Indian Ocean and as a charming hangover of colonial manners and services. For almost a century it was the focal point of British colonial life style in the island.

Rooms: 84 well-appointed guest rooms with modern fittings - all have private bathrooms with hot & cold running water, individually controlled air-conditioning, colour television with satellite channels, IDD telephone, hairdryer, refrigerator and mini-bar.
