Location: The Anantara Resort, voted the best hotel in northern Thailand, is a superb hill resort set amidst 400 acres of lush gardens and bamboo forests; and is located in the heart of Mekong Region at the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. It is a 50-minute drive from Chiang Rai international airport.

Rooms: The hotel is built in Royal Thai Lanna style of 2-storey architecture on the hill slopes overlooking the borders. Each of the 110 hilltop guest rooms and suites features a private terrace overlooking the Mekong River, air-conditioning, deluxe private bathroom with a full set of toiletries, colour television with satellite channels, IDD telephone, personal safe, fully-stocked mini bar and refrigerator.
