75 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

of Asian hospitality was born - The Peninsula Hong Kong opened her doors
for the first time, and has been welcoming guests and patrons from all
over the world ever since.

anniversary next year, and while the actual anniversary falls on 11th December
2003, a year of celebrations was launched on 11th December 2002.
Activities and events will not only
commemorate the history of the hotel and the role she's played in the history
of Hong Kong through the years, but also look to the future with a range
of artistic, musical and photographic projects and competitions for Hong
Kong's young people, focusing on the city's fast disappearing historical
and architectural heritage.
An exciting selection of new dining
and accommodation packages will be on offer, including the return of traditional
afternoon tea dances every Sunday from September to December, and two new

Academy programs - a new Peninsula Academy Culinary Journey dining odyssey
around the hotel and a weekend stay with a special Peninsula historical
walk hosted by well known local historian, author and journalist, Jason
Wordie.

and souvenirs will be available in the Peninsula Boutiques, together with
the new "Peninsula Chocolatier" range of chocolates (launched on 11th December
2002) and the full range of Peninsula Tea Collection teas including a new
